We are seeking a login script that can check the size of a particular folder and destroy all sub-folders//files if it is more significant than 500MB. I've seen similar scripts for doing it on a per-file basis, but we need it on a per-folder basis. Ideally, we'd like to include it in our login script. The Java cache folder for each user has grown to over 500MB on our Citrix servers, and we want to clear the cache to save up disk space.

GPO Preferences can be used if you know the location. The GPP is short forGroup Policy Preference, which is helpful since you need to alter it once, and it will be applied to all computers. The GPP can be used to generate, remove, and update commands.
If you wish to eliminate an existing link, establish a policy that deletes a folder and its contents larger than 500MB. The sole exception is if the link contains something dynamic, such as a computed alternate path depending on data such as the current user or workstation name. Things become a little more tricky with GPP.
Try the following steps to launch the GPP to set up the procedure of aimed deletion:
Step 1.In the "Advanced Startup" section of Configuration (Enabled), select "Settings", "Update & Security", "Recovery", and "Restart now" buttons.
Step 2.Select "Troubleshoot", "Advanced Options", and "Startup Settings" from the preference menu.
Step 3.Set the path of the aimed folder, for example, Folder (Path:%AppData%\\Foxit Software\\Addon\\Foxit Reader\\Install)
Step 4.The script procedure is: Delete this folder (if emptied). "Enabled" - Recursively delete all subfolders (if emptied). "Disabled" - Delete all files in the folder(s) enabled - Allow deletion of read-only files//folders.
Step 5.Disabled Ignore errors for files//folders that cannot be deleted.
Step 6.Select the "Restart" option. Then on the "Startup Settings" screen, press F4 to activate Safe Mode.
When you find a locked file with empty directories and subfolders, you can typically unlock it by restarting your device. If that fails, you canboot into Windows Safe Modeand unlock and delete the files and folders.
However, deleted files are always dangerous. You may find yourself deleting crucial files that you never intended to delete in the first place. The same thing can happen if you use all these commands in GPP. So, how can yourecover deleted files? We recommend that you restore the data.
