Hi there, I usually create a local backup of the 1Password vault using this method:

Step 1.Navigate to%USERPROFILE%> AppData> Local> 1Password, and back up the whole folder.

Step 2.Back up the current1Password full version installer executable.

During the first few backups, I used the manual copy-and-paste method to create a local backup. However, as my data was constantly updated, the frequency of backups made me tired of doing it manually, so I chose a professional backup tool to automate the task for me -EaseUS Todo Backup Home.

EaseUS Todo Backup Homeis anauto-backup softwarethat automatically updates 1Password's data copy for me as soon as I set the backup period or frequency. Also, it provides the incremental backup mode that allows EaseUS to create the latest backup every time the data in the 1Passwrd folder changes.

With its help, I saved 1Password's data in three places, local disk, external HDD, and one cloud space according to the3-2-1 backup ruleto prevent any unexpected situation.

Also, by default, the 1Password program usually does not automatically download files to a locally cached copy, but when you choose to export, 1Password will download all encrypted file attachments to%USERPROFILE%> AppData> Local> 1Password> files. So before you make a backup, please select export first.
