How to Deploy System to Multiple Computers in a Batch

这篇文章provides you 2 solutions to deploy a system backup to multiple computers, based on whether the type of the hard drive is MBR or GPT. Please note that the system backup deployed in these 2 solutions can only be the one created in EaseUS Todo Backup. ClickHEREto learn how to create a system backup in EaseUS Todo Backup.

Case 1: The type of the hard disk is MBR
For MBR hard disk, EaseUS Deploy Manager helps you to deploy and configure Windows systems to multiple PCs or servers, simplifying IT administration routine and improving the efficiency for your work.

Procedures for System Deployment

On the Main Windows
Run the product in the main window. It contains the main features in the left pane and the operations are displayed in the right pane.

Create Machine Group
The product manages PCs or Servers with a machine group. By default, there is a group for All machines. You can add your own group for machine management by clicking Create group.

Add Machines
EaseUS部署管理器identifies machine by its MAC address. To Add machines, there are two methods:

1.From file

Select add machines icon to choose from file option. And then import a machine list file to add multiple machines. Normally, it is a text. File and a item can be added to a note pad with machines’ MAC address and Alias name included.

2.By MAC address

Select add machines icon to choose by MAC address option. Then input the Machine’s MAC address, Alias name, and choose the Group to add a single machine.

Create a Deployment Task
1.Click create in deployment page and it will pops a window to inform you to create a name for this task. Then select specified machine in three options as the pictures below to get a specific option for this deployment task.

2.Choose a image file that you need from the network path to deploy it and configure the Username and Password to access this Network Share, NAS or some other devices. When deploying to multiple machines, as they may have different hardware configurations, the product will try to search for the available drivers and install them into the deployed system to make a bootable Windows system. You need to specify the drivers’ storage directory here before deployment.

Deploy to Destination Computers
Select the created task then click run to start deploying system. EaseUS Deploy Manager will show the recovery progress of the PC. If part of machines failed to execute the recovery, it will do the job automatically in the next boot. You can also select Run failure to only execute the task on those machines.

Case 2: The type of the hard disk is GPT
EaseUS部署管理器currently does not work with GPT drives. If the type of your drives is GPT, the PXE (Preboot Execution Environment) option in EaseUS Todo Backup Enterprise can the target computers from the network card to do a system deployment. It is extremely helpful for bare metal recovery or network deployment.

Steps For System Deployment
1. Please enable PXE option in EaseUS Todo Backup.

2. Please ensure that the network card supports PXE boot. Then access computer BIOS to change boot order to network boot.
3. Under the WinPE environment, please select system transfer option and click Browse to locate the system backup image file in the Browse to Recover window.

4. After finishes the recovery, you can restart your target computers.
